Mehta Vakil & Co. Pvt. Ltd , Member of The Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd. and National Stock Exchange Of India  established by Mr. D.C.Mehta  has been one of the oldest members of The Bombay Stock Exchange having been established in the year 1921.

MVCPL was established as a partnership firm and was converted into a corporate entity in the year 1998.

The current Chairman Mr. Jayendra D. Mehta has been associated with the firm since the year 1953, initially as a partner of Mehta Vakil & Co. and after corporatisation as Chairman and Managing Director. Mr. Jayesh J. Mehta , currently Director joined the partnership firm MVC in the year 1982. Mr. Ashish J.Mehta ,Director joined as partner of MVC in the year 1985.

Looking at the rapid expansion of the Capital Markets and a need to offer all services related to capital markets MVCPL started Depository Services by becoming member of CDSL in 2001. and a member of the Cash and Futures and Options segment of the National Stock Exchange Of India in the year 2004.

One of the hallmarks in the long history of MVCPL has been the trust imposed in it by its clients. Today the company has an impressive list of more than 5000 clients which includes Banks, Institutions  and individuals spread across the country. Many clients have been associated with MVCPL since the last three generations.
